Winter Skincare

Winter Skincare

I was just looking at the calendar the other day and realized how fast this season flew by and how close we are spring already, it feels like we were welcoming the new decade just yesterday. But time doesn’t stop and neither do I, so I thought today I’d share with you three of the skincare products I tried and used this cold season.

Bath and Body Works Scrub in Winter Candy Apple

I normally like to make my scrub at home rather than buying it, but I happened to be in Bath and Body Works looking for festive candles when I came across their ” Winter Candy Apple ”  scent and figured I had to get both the scrub and the hand soap. The actual product is good, not too harsh, but the smell is definitely what made me get it in the first place, which I’d describe as a cold winter day spent inside cooking seasonal treats, laughing with family and friends.

” Lovely Dreamer ” Bath And Body Works Body Lotion

Also while at Bath and Body Works I found this body lotion based on shea butter and coconut oil and as I know my skin easily damages during the cold months and was out of body lotion, I decided to get it.

Yves Rocher ” First Snowflake ” Hand Cream

I’m not sure if I mentioned it before on the blog, but my social media followers definitely know I love Yves Rocher products, especially their hand cremes. They’re hydrating, easily absorbed into the skin and they smell amazing. So naturally, I couldn’t miss this year’s holiday set (I’ve been buying them for the past 4 or 5 years) and got this mini version of their ” First Snowflake “ hand creme.

What are your favourite products for the cold season? Let me know in the comments or via Instagram.

Until next time…
