I heard about French Revolution about as soon as it opened its first location in Bucharest, but only got to go and try their eclairs for the first time last summer, when I realized happened to be pretty close to their restaurant near Victoria Square and decided to stop by for something sweet.
Atmosphere & Decor
I loved the location – a modern, simplistic little restaurant in the middle of the city, easy to access yet not overly crowded or loud as you’d expect.
Food & Service Word has it they have the best eclairs in town and while I can’t 100% confirm that, I will say they are delicious and definitely worth trying for yourself. They have a variety of flavors, but of course the one that first caught my eye was ” Mascarpone et framboises “ , as I just love raspberries. I recently also tried their pistachio eclair, ” Pistache “, which is just as delicious.
I’m not a regular client, but as far as my visit went, the service was great, the staff very polite and quite cheerful, which always puts me in a good mood.
I’m curious to see what you think about French Revolution if you’ve ever went there and what other restaurants/cafés do you recommend I should go to? Let me know in the comments or via Instagram.
Until next time…
