Since making a similar post a few months ago, I decided I want to make these types o articles into a series, as I think there’s so many amazing fashion choices in tv shows that can inspire our day to day styling choices.
The Looking Glass Shift Dress by Anthropologie from 3 x 24
If I were to only pick one piece out of Spencer’s wardrobe, it would definitely be this dreamy Anthropologie dress, which I find perfect for almost every occasion and can be easily styled in so many ways to reflect one’s personality.
The Nora Gown by Walter Mendez from 6 x 09
There’s just something about the emerald velvet and high neckline of this dress that makes it stand out from all of the other pieces worn during that episode, am I right?
The Sheer Panel Pleated Dress by RED Valentino from 7 x 20
A few months ago I made a similar post about pieces worn by Sarah Rafferty in Donna Paulsen’s role and 2 of the 10 looks I selected ended up being Valentino designs, so you can definitely see a bit of a pattern there. The details of this dress make it so special and in my opinion, the most gorgeous pleaded dress I’ve ever seen.
The Nancy Flutter Sleeve Coat by Bebe from 6 x 11
It’s a pink coat with flutter sleeves… need I say more?
Jokes aside, I think this piece was incredibly well chosen to reflect the fact that Spencer, as the rest of the girls, had grown up and were no longer teenagers, but still keeping aspects of the personal style, that we got to know all too well during the many seasons of the show.
The Novalee Top & Elley Skirt by Diane von Furstenberg from 3 x 16
I’ve always loved the preppy combinations chosen for Troian to wear on the show, as they also reflect my style and I often like to take inspiration from different styling ideas, such as this one: clean and simple, with the skirt’s detail around the waist – just perfect.
The Peplum Dress by Karen Millen from 4 x 01
What can I say? I’m a declared fan of little black dresses and love them even more whenever they these subtle twists, such as the neckline of this Karen Miller piece.
The Tie Neck Sweater Dress by Anthropologie from 2 x 25
Anthropologie never disappoints and so is the case with this sweater dress and Troian’s beautifully styled hair, that perfectly compliments it.
The PLL Spencer Colorblocked Dress by Aeropostale from 5 x 12
I remember seeing this dress for the first time and thinking ‘wow, that’s one of the most Spencer dresses I’ve seen lately’, so it didn’t come as much as a shock when I found out that it was in fact a collaboration between Aeropostale and the show’s costume designer, Mandi Line.
The Gold Dress by Jacquard from 3 x 24
Sadly we didn’t get to see much of this dress, but it still stuck with me, probably because of its gold details.
The Lace Camisole by Frenchi from 3 x 15
As I’ve said before, I love taking inspiration from different character’s style and I resonate a lot with Spencer’s, so it’s nice to see a more casual look every once in a while.
Do you fave any favorite outfits worn by Spencer? And what other characters from PLL, as well as other shows would you want me to do next? Let me know in the comments or on Instagram.
Until next time…
?kisses,
