As you may have seen on my Instagram, I was away last week, on a trip to Crans-Montana, Switzerland. It was actually a ski trip, so I didn’t get as many shots of the city as I would have liked, as I was on the slopes most of the time, but I’ve seen enough to say I would be happy to go back some day.
I remember first passing by this door about 2 and a half years ago, on a sunny summer day and stopping to wander about what was behind it and well… when would I come back to take photos…
I heard about French Revolution about as soon as it opened its first location in Bucharest, but only got to go and try their eclairs for the first time last summer, when I realized happened to be pretty close to their restaurant near Victoria Square and decided to stop by for something sweet.
I’ve never been much of a fan of mall food courts, mostly because of the agglomeration and noise, so I always try to find nice restaurants as the atmosphere is so much nicer and prices are usually very similar. It was one of these days that I stumbled around Granny’s Waffles in Dubai Mall.
As the Audrey Hepburn fan I am, when I heard we were to visit Rome this summer I figured I had to tie it to one of my favorite movies, Roman Holiday, by using it as a touristic guide through the European capital.
The summer of 2019 was in so many ways exactly what I wanted and expected it to be and in others, the complete opposite. At the end of each season I like to look back and draw lines – I make a scrapbook, talk to a friend, or sometimes write.
