This month we couldn’t say we were bored, from movies to renewed seasons, April was full of surprises, so here are some of my favourite things I watched, listened to and read this month:
It’s all over the world, the Golden State Killer was finally caught and it’s like a true crime dream came true, of course we had to do some digging, from news reports to Reddit and Twitter posts, but what a better source than Karen and Georgia from My Favorite Murder! If you haven’t heard of it, go check it right now, it’s one of the best murder podcasts, and, good news, if you just started you have 118 episodes and 64 minisodes to catch up on so don’t waste your time!
Keegan Allen’s Hollywood – the waiting is over, Keegan Allen’s second photobook, Hollywood has finally come out at the end of the last month! I still haven’t gotten mine (because I practically live on the other side of the world) but I’ve seen parts of it, and again, I’m so excited to hold the book in my hands. Keegan gives an exclusive look through Hollywood, known as the city of fame, from all of its sides, along with stories and memories from Foreverland told in the most beautiful way possible.
The secret is out – production for season 3 of Stranger Things officially started! – If you’ve been following the Stranger Things cast & crew on social media you probably know that they started filming season 3 of the Netflix original hit TV series. Rumors say that there’s a one year gap, as it was between the previous two seasons, but it’s nothing official. However it is expected to drop at the end of 2018.
The Elizas by Sara Shepard – highly expected novel The Elizas just dropped this month, another murder mystery by bestselling author Sara Shepard. I’m only halfway through the book but you can expect a more in-depth review soon, until then you should definitely read it if you’re into mystery.
The Carrie musical episode of Riverdale – after a 2-week break, the TV show had to come back with something new and exciting. And it did. The musical episode of Riverdale was one of the best, I don’t want to spoil anything if you haven’t seen it yet, but unlike other musical episodes from TV shows that don’t really have action, this one left you wondering until the last moment. The cast & crew did a wonderful job, I really look forward to more episodes of this kind, because there is going to be a third season !
Babe – Sugarland ft. Taylor Swift – we got to hear “The Old Taylor” again. Written by Taylor in 2011, along with her 4th album, Red, Babe never made it into the album, but 7 years later, the single turned into a collaboration with Sugarland and the result is AMAZING.
I hope I helped you find something to read/watch, if you have any reccomendations I can’t wait to see them in the comments or via Instagram.
Until next time…
?kisses,
